What is the BioPharm2020: Bio-Business Plan Competition 2012?

BioPharm 2020 is a major UK and India Science Bridge, established to create long-term collaborations in pharmaceutical research. The University of Nottingham's School of Pharmacy and Nottingham University Business School, the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur's Department of Biological Sciences and Bioengineering and the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore have joined forces to exploit the synergies between scientists and industries in India and the UK to create a step-change in collaborative innovation. BioPharm 2020 is a Department of Science & Technology, (DST) New Delhi and Research Council UK (RCUK) Science Bridge that is generating new businesses and new technologies that can only happen through the collaboration of scientists and business leaders in both India and the UK.

As part of its objective to promote Bio-entrepreneurial activities, a Bio-Business plan competition is being hosted by IIT Kanpur in collaboration with C-CAMP Bangalore.
